These Terms of Service govern your use of Maid For You’s cleaning services. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

SMS For Consent Communication: The information (phone numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Types of SMS Communications: When you consent to receiving text messages from Maid For You, you may receive text messages related to customer support, quotes, quote follow-ups, promotions, appointment reminders, or follow-ups.

Message types include: “Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your upcoming cleaning appointment with Maid For You at [Location] on [Date] at [Time]. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time.”

Message Frequency: Our message frequency will be between 50 and 500 text messages daily across all users.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: Many carriers charge a fee for each message sent or received. This can vary depending on the carrier’s pricing structure and whether the message is sent domestically or internationally. Messaging fees will vary depending on your carrier.

Opt-In Method: Customers will Opt-In for SMS messaging verbally while on the phone, this agreement for SMS will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Opt-out: Customers will be able to opt out of SMS messaging from Maid For You by replying STOP at any time to any received SMS message, once opted out they will receive no further SMS communication. They can Opt back In at any time by replying START.

3. Scope of Work

Maid For You provides high-quality cleaning services within defined operational boundaries:

  • Cleaning is performed on surfaces accessible via a two-step ladder; tools may be used for higher areas.
  • Staff wear indoor shoes or protective booties to maintain the cleanliness of your home.
  • Staff do not move furniture or clean exterior windows.
  • Biohazards, including but not limited to mold, infestations, and bodily fluids, are excluded from services.

4. Force Majeure Clause

Maid For You is not responsible for delays or failures to provide services due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, or power outages.

5. Complaints Process

To ensure quality service, complaints must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Notify us via:

Complaints received after this period, or those involving areas/items altered by third parties, may not be eligible for resolution. Re-cleaning disputed areas must occur before third-party involvement to maintain service guarantees.

6. Confidentiality Clause

Maid For You is committed to protecting client confidentiality. Any sensitive or private client information obtained during service will be handled responsibly and will not be shared or disclosed without explicit client permission unless required by law.

7. Payment and Refunds

  • Payment Policy: Payment is due on the day of service. A valid credit or debit card must be on file.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are not offered; however, unsatisfactory services may be eligible for a re-clean if reported within 24 hours.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations require 48-hour notice to avoid a fee. Same-day cancellations or denied access to the home incur a full-service charge.

8. Dispute Resolution

All disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Bucks County, PA.

9. Liability Limitations

Maid For You is not liable for:

  • Damages to pre-existing fragile or improperly secured items.
  • Outcomes are affected by conditions beyond our control (e.g., wet floors).
  • Liability limits are capped at $100 per incident, with proof of value required for claims.
